Public Notice
Bhutan Telecom would like to inform our valued customers that BTL will be carrying out a planned maintenance on the Fibre Link to London with our partner Flag Telecom on Sunday 6th July 2008.

The following services will be affected
1. Internet Lease Line
2. DSL Broadband Customers
3. 4 Mbps Link to DrukCom
4. 2 Mbps Link to Tashi Infocom

The planned maintenance will start at 1100Hrs and is expected to last about 5 Hours. We regret the inconveniences caused.

Sending wrong SMS to 2525
Bhutan Telecom has observed that valued customers are sending wrong SMS while participating in DrukAir Silver Jubilee offer. BTL would like to inform all participants that due to technical constraint BTL will not be able to refund charges for SMS in case you send the wrong SMS to 2525. Please observe the following correct SMS message. The sign ‘’ would mean you should keep one space:

1. Correct SMS to be sent to 2525: Drukair 25yrs


2. Example of wrong SMS: Drukair 25 yrs or Drukair 25 years

3G video call service now available in B-Mobile Prepaid connection too
Bhutan Telecom would like to inform our valued customers that 3G Video call service can now be availed for Prepaid B-Mobile connection. Bhutan Telecom brings to you voting services through voice and SMS that will facilitate you to participate in Bhutanese Star organized by Jikdrel Trophel.
To cast your vote:
a) B-Mobile subscribers need to SMS BTstar (keep one space) followed by code number assigned to the respective contestant to 890.
For example: SMS BTstar 02 to 890, if the code assigned to the contestant is 02.
b) From landline, you can dial 890100 followed by the contestant code number to cast your vote.
The B-Mobile and landline numbers as well as the name and code number of the contestant shall be announced later through broadcasting Medias and during live programs.
Make your vote count and see your favorite Bhutanese Star win.
